In accordance with NEN6098, a jet-fan system must be commissioned, to this end, dependent on the compartment size different tests are required. Dependent on the compartment size, the function of the system will also change. Dependent on the type of hot smoke extraction or smoke control system, cold smoke tests, capacity measurements, flow measurements and grid measurements are carried out. With a number of these tests a CFD calculation must be made in advance for the expected flow in the garage without thermal loading and during the testing, the system must be tested on the CFD calculation.
Overpressure for stairwells and fire lifts
In accordance with NEN12101-6, an overpressure system must be commissioned by means of capacity measurements.
